How is it sensible to compare a hardly-just-entered-beta product with a years old very mature product? Of course GA will win.

Comparing a brand new product with seasoned prodcuts happens all the time. It is to give you insight as to what the new product offers compared to the seasoned one.

I agree that it's not exactly a fair fight.  My real intention was to see if anyone else was using Gatineau, and whether or not they liked what was available so far.  Yes, GA was the hands-down winner this time.  We can only hope improvements are made to the Gatineau interface to make it more intuitive.  I would love to see Gatineau become a major competitor to GA.  It would do great things for the web analytics arena.

Well, since the name of "killer" has been given it's a guarantee that it will fail. Every time people feel the need to introduce a product and position it in such a way that the measure of success is complete and total anihilation of the top competitor, then it's 99.9% likely to fail. Just put out a good product into the market and earn a market share like normal industries.  You don't see Frito-Lay touting their new "Dorito Killer", do you?
