Good or bad intentions, the tool makes adding and finding certain types of people in Twitter a lot easier. I would definitely recommend using it.

Especially since the recent update from twitter killer twitter friend adder and a lot of other previous tools. :(

Interesting but they are going to have a hard sell getting people onto a subscription model (single day $9.95 or thirty day $19.95). Maybe if they tied this into a better API limit at Twitter but just for the tool itself? Not sure.

I'm also a bit turned off as a Ubuntu user. You're right, Windows-platform only is not Cuil. AIR can be a little flakey but cross-platform is definitely the way forward.

I like TweetDeck at the moment, it's a mixing desk of Twitter with a host of functions, including the ability to group users together in streams. If it builds in multiple accounts I'll be completely sold.

I think most have missed the point with marketing on twitter entirely! You don't need another tool.  People can see right through marketing ploys on twitter anyways. It's obvious when you've been targeted by a keyword search.  If you think you can sell to people by just targeting them by some keywords without REALLY connecting with these people -- wrong.

Of course there are always a few exceptions to every rule. Don't get me wrong, for each his own, as far as "tools" go.  But I have a lot of experience with connecting with people on twitter and making sales -- lots.  But it's an artform really.  And if you think any different, try it, and see how many people -- unfollow (twitter-dump) you.

Here is an older video that Ed Dale did on one of my ibusinesses about twitter.
