Edward (Pageoneresults) Runs us through Pascal Casing - we all do it on our titles - do we need to use it in our microblogging platforms as well? (I know i do - and often).
Case Study here is Twitter. (with a handy tip on adding links....)

Having Pascal or Camel casing makes abundant sense - so obvious really.
also I never knew it was called camelCasing - which is an addedBonus :D
Good article. I've been picking up the habit of PascalCasing my URLs from the domainers. It's common practice in those circles as it highlights the dictionary terms within the domain name. I believe this is to emphasis the value; dictionary terms being more sought after, even in 2/3 or 4 word combinations.
As Edward suggests though, it also gives visual clues for the user in remembering the URL and therefore stronger branding opportunity. It definitely makes sense as a trend.
When my 1990s style website was attacked for being outdated, nobody had ever complmented me on my use of PascalCasing. Just goes to to show you how some people can write forever on absolutely nothing.
Beware the Duplicate Content issues if a URL responds with "200 OK" for either case in any part of the URL, after the domain name.
Add 301 redirection for people that have typed in the URL with incorrect casing, so that the incorrect versions cannot be indexed.
Domain names are not case sensitive, but the rest of the URL always should be.
@iAN/G1SMD - solid tip that will benefit many. I know i've messed things up before by defaulting to Caps.
I have only one comment, from a usability perspective. Yes, obviously SEOConsultants.com is catchier than seoconsultants.com. However, many users don't realize that URLs aren't case sensitive.
So, when they go to type in the URL, as some might do, they might feel that they have to get the caps right. No matter how memorable the name, it's hard for people to remember what letters to capitalize in a URL because that's not how we usually use them.
Obviously, many people will simply do a Google search for "seoconsultants", others will click directly on a link, but some will type it into their browser bar and possibly stumble over the capitals, thinking that they do need to get them right.
