Have seen several cases now where using “nofollow” on internal links did this -

a) Increased ranking on short tail and killed a lot of long tail traffic .. Hmmm not good

You can learn from glitches, because many times glitches show you where and how Google is trying to shape the web. Glitches are side effects of algorithms with a targeted intent, but with too many unintended consequences and/or casualties. read more »
